ITINERARY
-
Future road warriors: Tonight, we're kicking off our madcap adventure with a shindig in a top-secret London venue. The dress code? Think "Mad Max meets Downton Abbey" with a sprinkle of "I raided a charity shop blindfolded."
We'll introduce you to the challenge scoreboard - because nothing says "fun road trip" like turning it into a cutthroat competition, right? Points for style, points for making our Rally Reps laugh, points for not ending up in a ditch. It's like The Hunger Games but with more horsepower and fewer arrows.
And let's not forget the prize for the best costume. Will it be something useful for the journey ahead? Ha! Don't be silly. It'll probably be a trophy so ridiculous you'll have to explain it to customs at every border crossing Just remember: what happens on Rally... will probably end up on social media before you even leave the bar. Cheers to bad decisions and great stories!
-
Buckle-Up Buttercups! We're zooming (at a safe speed, appropriate to you and the driving conditions, of course) from Greenwich Park towards the European continent, via Dover, faster than you can say "Brexit." Ferry across the Channel, and voilà! You're in France. We'll cruise through Nord-pas-de-Calais, aiming for the outskirts of Paris. Or maybe Le Mans? Who knows? We sure don't!
-
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines for the most thrilling day of... hmm, well okay it’s not actually that thrilling! We've meticulously crafted a route through Central France that's so mundane, that it's almost an art form. Prepare yourselves for an endless parade of fields, fields, and – wait for it – more fields!
But fear not, intrepid explorers! Your Rally Reps, in their infinite wisdom (or perhaps questionable judgment), will have concocted a series of challenges to keep your minds as active as a caffeinated squirrel. And remember, it's not about the destination; it's about the journey. And today's journey just happens to be through France's most, uh, consistent landscapes. Think of it as a zen experience on wheels. Or a test of your ability to find entertainment in the most unlikely places. Our final destination for the day is Toulouse, where we’ll overnight and dream of the more exciting roads that lie ahead
-
Time to wake up those dormant driving skills! We're tackling the Pyrenees and sneaking into Andorra. Stock up on duty-free goodies (because that's totally why you came on this rally). Then, it's downhill to Barcelona. First one to spot the Mediterranean wins! As you hit the Med, you'll get your first glimpse of sea since Calais. But unlike Calais, you might actually want to dip your toes in here. Just don't get too excited - we've still got a long way to go, and no one wants to see your sunburn peeling for the rest of the trip
-
Today's motto: Sun's out, fun's out! We're beach-hopping our way to Benidorm. Prepare for sand in uncomfortable places and questionable tan lines. Our checkpoints are all seaside, so bring your floaties!
-
Big night in Benidorm? Too bad! We're swapping debauchery for culture with a pit stop at the Alhambra in Granada. Soak in the views, pretend to understand history, then dash to the Costa del Sol. Because nothing says "cultural appreciation" like rushing through a UNESCO World Heritage site.
-
Europe, we hardly knew ye! Today we switch continents. First stop: Algeciras, where we’ll hop on a ferry to Ceuta. Just an hour across the water, and boom – welcome to Africa (well, sort of; it’s still a Spanish enclave)!
After breezing through border formalities (or not, depending on whether all your paperwork is in order!!), we’ll dive into the real Morocco. Buckle up as we cruise through the stunning Rif Mountains in convoy, making our way to Chefchaouen – the famous blue city that looks like it’s straight out of a postcard. We’ll take a moment to explore this picturesque mountain town, snap some Instagram-worthy photos, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. It’s a whirlwind day of adventure, culture, and breathtaking views. Get ready for more Moroccan magic tomorrow.
-
Wave goodbye to greenery as we venture into arid lands. We're aiming for Midelt, where the Atlas Mountains begin to show off. Listen for the melodious mix of Muezzin calls and honking horns – your new lullaby for the next few days.
-
Sahara time, baby! Prepare to find sand in places you didn't know existed. Choose your adventure: drive, walk, or bump along on a camel (additional costs apply and camels are VERY grumpy!). Just don't get lost – we can't afford the Search and Rescue fees!
-
Roll out the red carpet (or red sand) as we hit Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou. Pretend you're in "Gladiator" or "Game of Thrones." Just remember: unlike the characters, you need to survive to finish the rally.
-
Final day, folks! We're conquering the Tizi N Tichka pass. It's all downhill from there – literally and figuratively. Cross the finish line in Marrakech like the champion you are (or at least pretend to be). Celebrate at the finish line party, where you can regale everyone with tales of your experiences and newfound expertise in international relations.
Congratulations! You've just survived 2500 miles of questionable decisions and unforgettable memories. Your prize? Bragging rights and a desperate need for a real Holiday! (unless you and your team win the coveted Rally Sahara
